Job: Content Strategist

Blue State Digital, a strategic consulting firm specializing in online engagement, seeks an experienced mid-level content strategist with IA skills to help us develop and maintain successful advocacy campaigns for our clients.

Applicants should be comfortable with the building blocks of online engagement and user experience, including information architecture, content management systems, blogging software, website design, video, SEO, analytics, online fundraising, email communications, and social media.

If you don't know what "call to action" means in a digital context, this probably isn't the right job for you.

We're looking for someone who understands how to build a consistent, simultaneous narrative across multiple channels, and also how to document the necessary strategies in a variety of editorial and visual formats. These formats may include sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, PPT/Keynote presentations, blog pipelines, editorial memos, and strategic assessments.
