Dan Thain
Dan joined BSD London in December 2008. He previously worked as the British Labour Party's e-Campaigns Manager and played a central role in numerous local and national campaigns. Specialising in email strategy, video content and message development, Dan has worked with the most senior figures in the British Government and regularly wrote email and DM copy for both Gordon Brown and Tony Blair.
He helped found his first dot.com at the age of 17 and following a short lived love affair with XBOX was briefly Europe's highest paid professional videogamer. As a keen cyclist, he once attempted to cycle from his parents house in Norfolk to Portugal. He didn't make it.
Dan holds a first class degree in Politics and Business Studies from the University of Liverpool and an MA in Intelligence and International Security from King's College London.

Speed Matters
For the Communications Workers of America (CWA), BSD developed and implemented "Speed Matters", a comprehensive constituency-building media campaign around the issue of telecommunications equity. In a matter of months, BSD's program generated an email list of almost 100,000, and built CWA into a thought leader on this issue, enhancing the organization's credibility with legislators, opinion leaders, and the press.
