Prince of Wales joins BSD to save the rainforests
His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, is well known for his commitment to tackling climate change by protecting the world's rainforests. When he decided to take his work to raise awareness online, his organisation, the Prince's Rainforests Project turned to Blue State Digital.
The new website – rainforestSOS.org – was launched today with the support of celebrities such as Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and Joss Stone.
Throughout the course of the project, these celebrities and others will engage directly with supporters, and harness the power of a grassroots campaign to achieve the goal of the Prince’s Rainforest Project: “make the trees worth more alive than dead”.
Launched this evening at 6pm UK time, the site has already received great media coverage in Time Magazine, BBC and the Times Online.
