Over 1,000 Essay Submissions Span All 50 U.S. States and 43 Countries

We posed the question, “What is the most important thing the United States can do to improve global health over the next 15 years?” You responded. We received more than 1,000 submissions addressing many important issues, and they came from all over the country and beyond. The map below tells that story.

Select essays will be included in the Commission’s final report, and winners of the cash rewards and scholarships will be announced by the end of the year. The essay contest is wrapping up, but we're still interested in your continued feedback and testimony.
