Not in my name
After two members of the fascist British National Party won seats in the European Parliament last month, BSD client Hope Not Hate started collecting names and faces for a petition proclaiming that their election was "not in my name."
In a Huffington Post piece, MP Jon Cruddas wrote:
"80,000 people signed an anti-BNP message directed at the president of the European Parliament. To mark the opening of the Parliament tomorrow, Hope Not Hate has released a new video produced by its online team, Blue State Digital. The video is a powerful rebuff to the BNP -- and shows a united movement of modern Britain that sets itself against the hateful division of racists who would turn the clock back."
Hope Note Hate released the video on a standalone site, NotInMyName.tv, encouraging viewers share it on Twitter and upload their own picture:
Blue State Digital is excited to continue working with Hope Not Hate as they use innovative strategies to combat fascism in Britain and beyond.

“We had a website, but no real organizing tools. I called Blue State Digital and within days, hundreds of screening parties were being created.”
