It’s Official: Barack Obama Owns the Web!

From Mediaweek: "As of May, the Illinois Senator attracted more than four times as many individual visitors to his Web site as did his Republican Senator John McCain: 2.3 million unique users for Obama versus just 563,000 for McCain," according to a Nielsen report. The report says Obama is also generating more blog activity.

Obviously, we think the social aspects of the BSD-driven Obama Web site have a lot to do with this -- we've built in plenty of opportunities for people to contribute content, invite their friends, and interact in ways that encourage social interaction and viral information-sharing.
