Insights From Jascha Franklin-Hodge
Blue State Digital CTO and founding partner, Jascha Franklin-Hodge sat down with Marketing Magazine earlier this month to answer questions about online organizing, the Obama campaign and more.
Franklin-Hodge stressed the need for technology and strategy departments to work together:
“The lesson we learned with Obama that we try to teach a lot of our clients is that you’ve got to have consistency. If you’ve got one person designing all your offline material and another person designing your online material, it’s not going to feel right to people. You’ve obviously got to have skill-set specialization. We have people who primarily write e-mails, who primarily do video. But they sit next to each other and they talk to each other, and they see what the others are doing. Building that cross-pollination is critical for any organization.”
