First Ever Netroots UK for Online Activists Comes to London

The first ever Netroots UK event will be taking place on 8 January, 2011. Progressive organisations, hundreds of grassroots activists and bloggers will be gathering for a full day of workshops, discussions and networking at Congress House in central London.

Campaigners from the worlds of politics, environment, development, civil liberties, unions, community groups and additional sectors will be represented at Netroots UK. BSD's own Teddy Goff, Associate VP of Strategy and Matthew McGregor, International Director are some of Netroots' featured speakers. Other speakers include MP Stella Creasey, and leaders from Trades Union Congress, Hope Not Hate, 38 Degrees, Netroots Nation, Left Foot Forward, Tweetminster, Labour List and more.
