Dilma Rousseff Becomes Brazil’s First Female President

On New Year's Day, two months after her historic win at the polls, Dilma Rousseff was sworn in as Brazil's president. Her successful campaign was bolstered by an online program created by Blue State Digital and powered by the BSD Online Tools.
With the help of BSD and Pepper Communications, a Brazilian digital agency, Dilma's campaign mobilized hundreds of thousands of Brazilians to take action, both online and off. The campaign also engaged countless voters across a wide range of social networking services, including Orkut, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Blue State Digital is proud to welcome Dilma to the world stage.
