BSD’s Clients Nominated for 10 Golden Dot Awards

On Wednesday, the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet released the nominees for their annual Golden Dot Awards, and Blue State Digital clients were nominated for 10 of the 22 categories – and three categories are for Republicans only.

Blue State Digital has the pleasure to work with an array of wonderful organizations – and the number of nominations speaks to the fantastic work that they are doing.

According to IPDI’s website, “the Golden Dot Awards distinguish those who have excelled in the field of politics and the Internet during 2008.”

Wal-Mart Watch was nominated for Best Blog – Issues and Advocacy, South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families was nominated for Best Website- Issue Advocacy and Campaign for Our Country was nominated for Best Online Advertising Campaign.

The most nominations come from Obama for America, who was nominated Technology Impact Moment, Online Politician of the Year, Most Networked Campaign, Outstanding Online Campaign, Best Website –Federal Candidate, Best Online Campaign and Best Online Get-Out-The-Vote Campaign.

The Golden Dots are awarded based upon a combination of online voting and a group of panelists.
