Democracy for America
Democracy for America had a tough act to follow. They had to figure out how to transition the vanguard internet campaign into a permanent political force — without the tens of millions of dollars, daily media exposure, and in-house web team of Howard Dean's presidential campaign.
They chose Blue State Digital over the competition because of our demonstrated committment to their success. We completely redesigned the main web site, the blog, and the organizing tools, creating a look and feel that reflects the dignity and professionalism of the organization. We consolidated their server architecture to save the organization thousands of dollars. We overhauled existing online organizing tools and added new functionality to the suite of capabilities. And we provided compelling content to rebuild web traffic and maximize the performance of the organization's email list.
Democracy for America is now reaping the rewards. Thanks in part to Blue State Digital's strategy, content and tools, DFA is growing. The first petition drive of the new organization smashed all records set during the campaign both in overall signatures and new members recruited.
